Welcome to the Historic Philadelphia, Inc. Blog!

Published on Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Welcome to the Historic Philadelphia, Inc. Blog! Here we will be updating you on current and upcoming events and programming!  Winter is almost here and we are reflecting on the 2008 season, while preparing and planning an even better season of programming and events for 2009. This season, visitors got to experience Colonial Pub Crawls while on Historic Philadelphia, Inc.’s Tippler’s Tour; they eavesdropped on the goings-on in Independence Hall after dark on Independence After Hours and heard tales and anecdotes from some of our favorite founding fathers! Who could forget all the fun kids had this summer on Colonial Kids’ Quest; and the intriguing stories heard while on Turmoil & Treason. Meanwhile, visitors in Valley Forge were busy roaming Washington’s encampment and enjoying soldiers’ stories around the campfire.

Didn’t get to experience the tours this year? Don’t worry! Historic Philadelphia, Inc. adventure tours will be back Memorial Day weekend 2009. In the meantime, check out the video of Independence After Hours to experience a glimpse of the fun!
